I am a great teacher. I listen to the students and learn from each one of them. They have taught me humility, integrity, courage and how to maintain a sense of humor. The children have taught me to open my heart and share with them the best of me. I have taught every grade from kindergarten through college and interacted with tens of thousands of children. This has shaped my life in unison with my own art.
My little art school began ten years ago, and we are currently at our maximum enrollment. The students range in age from 5 1/2 to 20 years old. They are at many different levels of ability and comprehension. I begin with where the child is in their own development and proceed from there. It is a highly individualized program, and one that ensures the self esteem of each child is not compromised.
I custom design the materials and concepts to coincide with the person's abilities. So far, it has worked for the past forty years. I have been honored for my teaching and service to many outreach programs. The Journey continues...
