mandalas
All my artwork is available as giclee prints. 
It was in the early nineteen seventies that I began my study of the Mandala. I was fascinated by the idea that this art form was used by almost every culture. I was captivated by the concept of how may different configurations each group added to enlighten us further, both visually and intellectually.
I began to construct my own Mandalas, concentric circles surrounding a core. My Mandalas took new and different forms. The concept of integrating seemingly unrelated images into cohesive statements lured me into an endless exploration of new ways to express myself. My works are more powerful in their entirety than in and of their parts.
I want the viewer to see simple shapes that are fundamental to all of us. I would like the complexities of m y statements to be seen after this initial response.
